As Spring 2007 collections hit the catwalk, Fall 2006 lines are arriving in stores throughout New York. Snag some skinny jeans at the newly renovated Diesel store in Union Square (1 Union Square West). Tiffany & Co. (5th Ave. at 57th St.) unveils its restyled flagship on Fifth Avenue—don't miss the Frank Gehry collections. To take it all with you, shoot up Madison Avenue to the Samsonite Black Label (838 Madison Ave.) store, featuring premium luggage and limited edition bags designed by Marc Newson and Matthew Williamson. Come October, Anglo-maniac Paul Smith adds even more color to SoHo with his new shop, showcasing ready-to-wear, furniture, and vintage reads.

As Fashion Week takes you all over the city, we've compiled a little hit-list for your tastebuds. Since you'll be fashionably late, breakfast in Bryant Park at Tom Colicchio's 'wichcraft sandwich stop—get a hot cinnamon bun before they run out. If you can't stray too far from the tents for lunch, speed-eat some sushi at Koi in the Bryant Park Hotel (40 West 40th St., 212-869-0100). If time is on your side, steak out at Wolfgang's (4 Park Ave., 212-889-3369) then sneak back to Bobby Flay's Bar Americain (152 West 52nd St., 212-265-9700) for dessert—don't miss the German chocolate layer cake.
AND FOR THE FASHION WEAK …
Seen all you need to see? Head to the Gustav Klimt show at the Neue Gallery (until Sept. 18, 5th Ave. at 86th St., 212-628-6200) and spy the $135 million Adele Bloch-Bauer I (left). Finally, spend an evening with Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway (240 West 44th St., 212-239-6200). Where else can you see a top shelf caberet version of Total Eclipse of the Heart performed drunk? Only in New York...
