| FACE-TO-FACE WITH BORAT |
| It's not just about the music. The annual CMJ Music Marathon kicks off in NYC on Oct. 31, but don't overlook the accompanying CMJ FilmFest. This year's highlights include advance screenings of the Oasis tour movie Lord Don't Slow Me Down and an adaptation of Peter Suskind's Perfume: Story of a Murder from director Tom Twyker (of Run Lola Run acclaim). Starting on a high, the screening of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan will feature an introduction by Borat himself, making a rare live appearance. Stay home if you're easily offended. Go to www.cmj.com for the full line-up. |
