Vol. 3, Issue 12. March 2007.

Spring has finally arrived! Get ready with some hot shoes and one cool cocktail.
Left: On a hot day (they're on their way, promise!), refresh yourself with a Citrus Martini, MercBar–style: Christiania Vodka, Cointreau, fresh lime, Rose's Lime Juice, and a splash of sour.
Right: Going green is going global. Well, at least to Canada. The stylish DOGs (Disciples of Good)—the latest offerings from Vancouver-based John Fluevog shoes—feature non-leather uppers and natural crepe soles, and are constructed entirely with water-based glues. Go to www.fluevog.com

It's curtains for David Hyde Pierce! No, the beloved Frasier and Spamalot star isn't calling it quits—he's opening Curtains, the first new Kander and Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago) musical to hit Broadway in years (and perhaps the last). The hilarious backstage murder mystery, set in 1959 Boston, stars Pierce as the gumshoe investigating the death of a Broadway-bound show's leading lady. Stage-struck, he tries to not only solve the case but also fix the troubled show. A hit at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles last year, New York audiences are already asking for curtain calls. Opens Thursday, March 22 at the Al Hirschfeld Theater in New York. Go to www.curtainsthemusical.com
