THE NEXT BIG THING
Don't call it a conference. It's more like a meeting of
the minds. Tomorrow Unlimited, a new venture by the
good people who brought you the Res empire, have
launched a touring salon-style event called the
Creators Series. Featuring emerging talent from across
the creative spectrum, the event is billed as
"a platform to support idealism and optimism in arts
and culture"—an appropriate sentiment from an
organization calling itself Tomorrow
Unlimited. Designers, musicians, and other creatives
on their way to becoming the next big things will be on
hand to share their vision of the future, touching on
everything from street art to experimental music. The
event kicks off in New York City June 9, with
panel discussions, seminars, and performances with
artists such as fashion designer Gareth Pugh,
filmmaker Martin Percy, art collective Graffiti
Research Lab and a special demonstration of the fascinating ReacTable (pictured). The Creators Series continues
on to Los Angeles the following weekend before taking off for
sites around the world. For event details and tickets, go to www.tomorrowunlimited.com |

These chic candles are each named for a luxurious locale and fill the air with the rich scents each locale evokes. The sunny yellow “Molto Bello!” Capri candle exudes notes of citrus and herbs that nearly whisk you away to the splendor of the stylish isle. Other “Dreamy Destinations, Delectable Scents” of Adler’s classy candles include the chic luxury of Bel Air and the soft fruit and floral aroma of Aix en Provence. Go to www.jonathanadler.com |

'BOY TOYS
Apparently the infamous Playboy bunny ears are not only cute, they're also listening. Claiming "thousands" of individual requests, this month sees the formal launch of the Playboy Passport: a $10,000-per-year concierge service. Access to VIP lounges, private jets, yachts, and exclusive restaurant reservations is an arm twister for sure, but we're guessing the behind-the-scenes photo shoot access and Mansion party invites will be the real clinchers.
