A 150' TV, BUT DO YOU HAVE THE WALL SPACE?

As if Las Vegas didn't already have enough flashing screens and buzzing gizmos, CES, the giant annual electronics industry convention, invaded Sin City this week. Our favorite tech blogs (www.gizmodo.com, www.engadget.com, and their ilk) have been posting new finds non-stop, but we thought we'd share some of our favorite highlights so far. None of these are available for sale just yet, but stay tuned—in no time your most gadget-savvy friends will be flaunting that 150-incher above.

Must Have: Panasonic Lifescreen Plasma TV (above)
Why You Want It: It's 150 inches. Need we say more?

Must Have: Sennheiser MX W1 Wireless Stereo Earphones
Why You Want It: Sleek silver and black frame these miniscule earphones, the first of their kind to transmit audio wirelessly (via an included transmitter) through 'Kleer technology' as opposed to lesser-sounding and energy-efficient Bluetooth alternatives. Sennheiser promises you'll be hearing everything loud and kleer.

Must Have: Sony OLED Digital XEL-1 TV
Why You Want It: Yes, it's just an 11-inch desktop TV, but it's also 3mm thin (that's millimeters, not centimeters) and uses Organic Light Emitting Diode technology to produce stunning color quality, pitch-dark blacks, and 1,000,000:1 contrast, all the while saving lots of energy. Plus, this is just the beginning for OLED: expect larger screens and higher resolutions in the years to come.

Must Have: Motorola ROKR E8
Why You Want It: Ever since Apple released its all-touch iPhone last year, there have been a flurry of knockoffs and imitators, a few good, most terrible. Motorola's newest ROKR may be the coolest attempt yet, with the buttonless touch screen morphing in a flash between phone, music player, and camera (check out Gizmodo's video of the CES presentation here http://gizmodo.com/341443/first-video-of-moto-rokr-e8s-100-buttonless-touch-interface).

What's Next: Apple's Macworld expo begins next week. Let the drooling begin.

CITY PRESENTS STUNNING LUXURY

All the new gifts you got this year taking up too much space in your penthouse apartment? Build up —as in, up on the roof: CITY follows the new trend of rooftop structure building from the flattops of Berlin to the downtown streets of Manhattan (to read the full story online, click here). Elsewhere in the issue, we hit the beach in Waikiki and the Cook Islands, chat up Bergdorf Goodman's top designer Kelly Wearstler, and try on the coolest winter fashion and jewelry.
